Description

    NaphCare is hiring an experienced Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians, Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs/EMTs), or Paramedics like you at the Arizona Department of Corrections - Tucson located in Tucson, Arizona. Full Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN shifts are available. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

    Pay rates from $20-$27.50 per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience. Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and can be discussed upon interview.

    Responsibilities for AEMT/EMT/Paramedic:

    • Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paramedic/EMT, preferably in a correctional or similar healthcare setting, but is not required
    • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
    • Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a high stress environment
    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays

    Qualifications for AEMT/EMT/Paramedic:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Current AZ state certification as a Paramedic or EMT (NREMT recommended)
    • Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
