Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a highly qualified Billing Coordinator to join the accounting department in the Charleston, SC office. The position's essential function is to process invoices to our clients for legal services on a monthly billing cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) are required as this position works with our attorneys, our legal practice assistants and our clients on billing matters throughout each month.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of work is essential.
  • Learn multiple third-party electronic billing systems, and adhere to client billing deadlines.
  • Perform Excel spreadsheet calculations in order to allocate various time and costs to multiple timekeepers and client matters
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong attention to detail and able to work independently. Excellent client service is expected from our Billing Coordinators. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Punctuality and satisfactory attendance is imperative.
  • Working knowledge of various types of technology such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat. Aderant/CMS Open accounting system knowledge is a plus.
  • Accounting Degree Preferred. General accounting experience is a necessary prerequisite with billing experience preferred.
