Your Role

BeaconMedaes is seeking a talented HR / Payroll Administrator to join our team. The HR / Payroll Administrator is responsible for payroll administration and employee/HR compliance programs. The ideal candidate will promote and maintain the company's mission, values, and culture, providing exceptional communication and service to employees.

Roles and responsibilities are focused on:

* Help manage the accurate preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of bi-weekly payroll process and administration of the payroll/time & attendance system: Ceridian Dayforce Time & Attendance
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of city, state, and federal legislation affecting payroll
* Maintain both HRMS and Ceridian Database for accuracy and make recommendations for payroll related policies and process improvement
* Manage payroll related reporting such as vacation time off, floating holiday, sick time, and other reports and needed
* Respond to and resolve any inquires/payroll related issues, password resets, online access in Ceridian Dayforce
* Help manage and maintain employee records including I-9 Form management
* Onboard new employees including background check and drug screening, prepare new hire related documents
* Offboard terminated employees
* Help with AAP preparation
* Help organize and facilitate onsite HR training for employees
* Manage American Business Travel Account set-up for new employees and provide assistance with employee inquiries such as password resets
*Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to internal and external customers.
*Perform all duties in accordance with BeaconMedaers/Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of internal and external customers
*Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done
* Perform other duties as assigned


To succeed, you will need

Experience

  • Up to 5 years' experience as a Payroll or HR Specialist
  • Experience working with Ceridian Dayforce a plus

Education

  • High school diploma
  • 2 or 4 year university degree in HR or related field a plus

Skills

  • Must be detailed oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, Teams
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confifentiality
  • Positive, professional attitude and reliability
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal team members and employees at all levels


Travel
Travel may be required on occasion for employee event and/or recruiting event
