POSITION TITLE: Manufacturing Supervisor/Technician

DIV/DEPARTMENT NAME: Systems Products Division/ Manufacturing/Operations

REPORTS TO: Sr. Manager, Operations

POSITION STATUS: Full-Time

WORK LOCATION: Greenville, SC (GSC)

WORK STYLE DESIGNATION: onsite

WORKSTYLE REQUIREMENT: onsite

FLSA STATUS (E or N): Exempt

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 0%

POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Hourly Process Operators

Pay Range: $74,624-$111,937 per year

This pay range is for the position's base salary only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and/or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.

POSITION SUMMARY
Oversees assembly and test operations for the Division, to include supervision of process operators, product conformity, and inventory management activities within the Division.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Major Responsibilities/Activities (List in order of importance the essential functions of the job and the approximate percentage of time spent on each of the activities; describe what must be accomplished, not how it must be done; include supervision or management responsibilities, quality and quantity standards, and % Time (as applicable.)

  • Directly supervises hourly (non-exempt) assembly/process operators.
  • Schedules employee's work based on production schedule, resources, customer requests, and other factors and/or as directed by Sr. Management.
  • Oversees and documents all incoming and outgoing materials; verifying shipments, tracking, quality checks as needed.
  • Maintains warehouse and inventory, to include conducting inventory process, reports, and assisting with any reconciliation and/or other issues related to warehouse inventory.
  • Prepares, packages, and schedules outgoing shipments to meet customer demands.
  • Ensure that daily assembly and test records are complete and accurate.
  • Responsible for daily testing of product, documenting, and ensuring all testing completed correctly.
  • Ability to run all process operator positions to include assembly, warehouse duties, testing; and willingness to work online with hourly as needed to meet production needs.
  • Assist with troubleshooting process and/or quality issues as related to assembly and test processes.
  • Assist as needed with Facility safety and coordination of maintenance needs.
  • Other related duties as necessary for business operations.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Two or Four year degree in technical field or comparable experience and experience.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience within a manufacturing process setting; with experience supervising hourly employees.
  • Experience working in assembly, testing, or similar manufacturing process position.
  • Experience with inventory control and documentation.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to supervise hourly direct reports
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels within the organization.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use pallet jack.
