What You'll Do in This Position

SRNS is seeking a Windchill/CREO System Administrator. This position is to provide software support to the Engineering and Operations department. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Windchill and CREO applications for Engineering and Operations. The position will focus on configuration, security, and user support.

Work individually or on teams to develop software solutions for site facilities. The types of work may include:

*Provide senior level analysis, expertise, and support to SRNS operations to resolve broad technical issues having division and/or site wide implications.

*Provide support to Windchill and CREO users.

*Develop process modeling or computer simulations.

*Work with Developers to maintain/enhance existing applications.

*Support software programs that comply with site requirements and design specifications.

*Develop engineering specifications and designs for process, operations, calibration, material and test equipment, installed or portable process instrumentation, or functional area systems.

*Review and understand customer requirements and specifications.

*Analyze system requirements and identify testing strategies that maximize test coverage and/or improve system reliability and performance.

*Maintain inventory of fixed and portable testing equipment.

*Prioritize projects and programs to reflect shifting DOE priorities. Prioritize and plan technical support programs to achieve division goals.

*Develop performance indicators to persuade senior management of projected program and equipment changes.

* Develop and maintain new and existing automation to improve efficiency.

*Execute and monitor testing activities and ensure they are completed as expected.

*Provide technical support to operations and maintenance technicians and other personnel as requested.

*Acts as an advisor to less qualified technical support specialists to meet schedules and or resolve technical issues.

*May develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance requirements.

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications We Require

High School Diploma, GED, or other equivalent State Credential

Other Qualifications

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Q level security clearance, and Human Reliability Program (HRP) Certification, Radiation Worker II Qualifications, and Facility Process Qualifications

Previous experience supporting Engineering software programs.

Qualifications We Desire

College degree in engineering, technical or mechanical area is preferred.

Windchill and/or CREO experience
