THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an immediate opening in Spartanburg, South Carolina for a Data Administrator whose responsibilities include data extraction, structuration, valuation, communication, decision support, and to ensure data quality, ethics, and security. Applicant will also be responsible for root cause analysis and helping to develop actions to resolve manufacturing issues.

Located in Spartanburg, our plant has been part of the community for over 40 years. Spartanburg offers a great mix of city and country life, with its walkable downtown area and great places to eat. It is located near Greenville, which also offers great living amenities and an international airport. Our facility is home to the X ONE long haul truck tire. We also build heavy-duty truck, military, and other large truck tires for our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Masters data governance rules and guarantees their application in local context
  • Guarantees that data in information systems are updated and compliant with Group and/or Local requirements
  • Detects and corrects data non-quality (accuracy, exhaustiveness, obsolescence and consistency of data)
  • Seeks to continually improve data quality control
  • Formalizes best practices are formalized and shares through the Data Administration Network
  • Leads and steers the Responsible User Network for the site
  • Develops, understands, and progresses to ensure adequate infrastructure for site advancements
  • Participates in relevant networks to support digital ambitions at the site level

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and process/product relationship knowledge.
  • B.S. degree in digital related fields
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to become proficient in internal software systems.
  • Attention to detail, data accuracy.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and Python.
