Business Consultant - S&OP is responsible for the S&OP and SOE process health within Itron. This role facilitates the SOE forums, Pre-S&OP meeting, and helps participants prepare for S&OP forums. They ensure that actions are recorded and decision points are identified. The initial focus is on SOE process maturity evolution to guide stakeholders to balance supply and demand in the short term and identify risks that cannot be resolved. Later focus will be on improving S&OP forums with emphasis on the standardization and repeatability of forums to support desired maturity attainment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and improve SOE process and framework globally towards target maturity.
  • Coordinate the Pre- S&OP forum to align actions and identify decision points.
  • Drive standardization for Supply Consensus meetings so that tradeoffs can be compared.
  • Ensure Demand reviews/handoffs occur on time and consolidate high level changes.
  • Support implementation of Product portfolio review meeting
  • Support inventory management activities through S&OP process and PFEP process.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor a forum and process health indicator.
  • Guide participants on preparing for forums and come with required inputs.
  • Meeting follow up - ensure that communication reaches functions responsible for actions.
  • Support newcomers in learning the S&OP/SOE process
  • Identify tool and process requirements / gaps
  • Regularly seek feedback from stakeholders on process and meeting effectiveness to identify areas of improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8-10 years plus of supply chain, operations, logistics, planning or related
  • Strong facilitation skills with S&OP and SOE experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Planning Processes - demand, supply, material planning
  • Experience and familiarity with material resource planning (MRP)
  • Logical problem solving abilities
  • Organizational navigation and stakeholder management
  • Excellent meeting facilitation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Oracle and Demantra experience preferred
