Responsibilities and Expectations:

A Strategic Analyst will join a newly formed Strategy & Project Management team at IPS focused on driving continued growth through our Value Creation Plan. On any given project, an analyst will undertake a variety of tasks including, but not limited to: scoping and managing progress, gathering and analyzing data, communicating findings, recognizing areas of opportunities, and ultimately assisting in the execution and success of the project. Project examples include: running the integrations for newly acquired companies, working with a project team in bringing our products to an e-commerce platform, and helping develop localized strategic plans at our 70+ service centers.

  • Coordinate and complete projects on time within budget and within scope.
  • Oversee all aspects of projects.
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of projects.
  • Prepare reports regarding status of project.
  • Proactively engage with business leaders to identify, design, and implement creative business and technology, such as Process Optimization and Automation; Change Management; Mergers and Acquisition Integration; Business Case Development
  • Create best in class program deliverables and work with teams to build positive relationships to deliver exceptional outcomes
  • Manage relationships with key partners and executive team to ensure effective program escalation and issue management mechanisms
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior leadership to position the project

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Ability to lead in complex business situations
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to conduct analysis and present data in meaningful ways
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively work within team environments
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to develop and deliver effective presentations
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
  • Positive attitude when facing adversity, including perseverance and persistence
  • Expert skill levels in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, with MS Access a definite plus
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience strongly preferred
