About the role

This position is responsible for implementation and maintenance of the industrial/process engineering function. You will have shared accountability with the operational management function regarding project cost projection, revenue projection, total cost control and reduction. You will also share accountability with operational management for safety, executional accuracy and operational analysis and reporting. Your contribution to the overall direction and total results achieved the by assigned manufacturing/distribution unit will also be a key responsibility.

What you'll be doing
  • Assume a key role in the assessment of the total operational opportunity in regard to potential new business.
  • Define actual work contents, efficiencies, delay factors, safety risks, and other factors pertaining to operational efficiency and accuracy of pricing.
  • Establish client's current operating cost baseline for comparative purposes.
  • Analyze and validate available historical data relative to accuracy, pricing projection, staffing level, and applicable seasonality impact.
  • Partner closely with the senior financial team in support of total, all-in pricing projection.
  • Support complete and on-time attainment of product and/or services delivery schedules.
  • Support daily communication, coordination, and collaboration with the designated client's primary and secondary POCs.
  • Collaborate with client's other departments to develop effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Support control of WIP, thru-put times, off-standard / non-billable situational response, and WIP inventory levels.
  • Support and participate in weekly SLA / KPI performance and CI progress review meetings are conducted with the client management.
  • Structure and support effective systems to provide executional accuracy and output specifications conformance meets or exceeds client's requirements.
  • Structure and support systems, processes, and tools wherein QA data is collected, analyzed, and tracked relative to key conformance data at the associate and operational levels to assure focused and effective corrective action.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in all areas of total cost.
  • Assure standardized, accurate, and timely development and reporting of CPU assessments and presentations.
  • Facilitate the introduction of new technology, methods, and systems
  • Develop, maintain, and audit incentive compensation systems.
  • Facilitate accurate and prompt reporting and tracking of all daily / weekly SLA / KPI information.
  • Assure consistent implementation of and compliance with all OSHA / EPA / FDA / CLIENT COMPANY safety, ergonomic, and risk management regulations, policies, guidelines, and initiatives as they specifically relate to safe, secure, and effective operations to include the implementation of any/all new and/or revised regulations and guidelines.
  • Champion a Lean/CI/6-S culture.
About you

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree required in Industrial Engineering or related discipline, and 5 years minimum of applicable, progressive work experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to gather, assemble, consolidate, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, and devise solutions.
  • Ability to identify and/or document existing and new processes as well as evaluate their effectiveness, develop improvements and/or recommend changes or alternatives.
  • Ability to proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to evaluate information, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgment, experience, and common sense.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $64,529 and $118,304. Salary may be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Benefit offerings for full-time employment may include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans and reimbursement and retirement programs. Available paid leave may include paid time off, parental leave and holiday pay.
